The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing email campaigns that enhance client engagement, nurture leads, and boost conversions. This role is pivotal in developing strategic email communication plans that target specific segments of a client’s audience to maximize ROI. By leveraging email automation, segmentation, and data analysis, the Email Marketing Specialist ensures that each email campaign is optimized for performance, maintaining a direct line of communication between the client and their customers, and driving measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Design & Implementation: Develop and execute various email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated drip campaigns, aligned with client marketing goals. Tailor content to audience needs and engagement trends to optimize each campaign’s performance.
- Audience Segmentation: Segment email lists based on customer demographics, behaviors, and preferences to create personalized campaigns that engage recipients more effectively. Ensure that segments are updated regularly to maximize relevance.
- Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and engagement metrics. Analyze campaign performance data and provide insights to improve future campaigns and enhance overall email marketing strategies.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, email copy, call-to-action (CTA) buttons, and design elements to optimize content performance and engagement. Continuously refine campaigns based on testing results to increase conversion rates.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all email marketing activities comply with legal regulations such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and industry best practices. Stay updated on email marketing laws to maintain compliance and minimize legal risks.
- Database Management: Maintain an updated, clean email database by managing list hygiene, removing inactive or invalid contacts, and ensuring data accuracy. Ensure that the email database supports campaign targeting and segmentation.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide detailed performance reports on email campaigns, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Use insights to develop actionable recommendations for optimizing future campaigns and increasing engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in email marketing, with a portfolio of successful campaigns and case studies.
- Strong understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc.) and email automation tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret email marketing performance data to make informed decisions and improvements.
- Familiarity with segmentation strategies, customer journey mapping, and personalization techniques in email campaigns.
- Knowledge of legal regulations surrounding email marketing (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.) and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.

Salary:
- Base Salary: $5/hour.
